Lost Wax Ring Making Workshop

Service Description

The lost wax ring making workshop entails making your own bespoke handmade piece of jewellery in this 2-3 hour session. Come and join Fi at her studio in The Fold for a wonderfully relaxing and creative workshop carving a design in jewellers wax which will then be cast in silver or brass, sent off to the caster in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and finished according to your requirements. Suitable for beginners and previous jewellery making experience is not necessary as you will taught the process from start to finish. This is such a fun workshop where you can treat yourself or someone else with a piece of jewellery made entirely by you. Refreshments of tea/coffee and cake are included. All tools and materials and casting costs are included. The wax ring allowance is up to 7mm thick. Anything larger will incur an extra cost. Jewellery made can usually be picked up from the studio within two-five weeks if you require pieces to be posted then there will be an extra charge.
